What is the insurance coverage amount for compulsory insurance of houses?

The amount payable in case of an insured event under compulsory property insurance depends on the city where the house is located:

  • For houses located in Baku: 25,000 AZN
  • For houses located in Ganja, Sumgayit, and Nakhchivan: 20,000 AZN
  • For houses located in other regions: 15,000 AZN
If both my apartment and my neighbor's apartment are damaged in an insured event, who will receive the payment?

In compulsory property insurance, compensation is paid only to the insured person in the event of a claim.
